Grapes

How do I determine a variety of grape, or does it really matter?

My spouse’s coworker is offering us grapes, and I’m looking at the traditional grape jam recipe.

It lists 3 varieties (Concord, Muscadine, Scuppernong) but I’ve never dealt with grapes before and am not sure if it’s safe to proceed.

I’ve included a picture of the grapes I’d be receiving.
