Attack Adds

Does anyone one else feel like the conservatives are going overboard with attack adds?

I can't watch a YouTube video lately without it being interrupted multiple times by an attack add. And the videos I watch are nothing to do with politics.

They're also on billboards in my city.

A ton of people have plastered anti liberal/Trudeau stuff on their property. Trucks, lawns, garage doors. I know they're not affiliated with the campaign, but some of these people are like walking/talking adds themselves, and it's not helpful.

This reminds me of the dismal Sheer campaign. And lets not forget one of the turning point of the O'Tool campaign was shitty people throwing rocks at Trudeau. Where is the positive messaging?

I think there's a place for attack adds, but I fear the average Canadian is seeing 90% attack and not enough positive messaging. The conservative branding is being tarnished by Trump, assholes, and an overly aggressive campaign strategy. If this isn't fixed the conservatives may be opposition again after this election is through.
