my new baby 🥹

hello fellow camry fanatics/owners/lovers/etc:

i behold you my new baby aka the 2025 camry xle !!! i traded in my corolla hybrid for a camry since my corolla didn’t have the convenience package and wanted to upgrade since i do tend to more of a highway driver than a city driver. i’m new to the car shopping experience and i had a car accident back in sept 2023 - my dad helped me buy a car since my credit score was still building but a year later i managed to get my score up to the 700s and take this leap of faith of getting my own car!!

TSRP: ~$40k OTD (after negotiating): ~$37k Down Payment (w/ holding deposit): ~$35k Dealership Insurance (added on): ~$39k ⁱ knew what i was getting myself into with that … but i managed to get them to have me at a 4.99% apr with at least $625/month. got a custom bundle of GAP insurance, tint/paint insurance and fabric insurance

my plan is to split the payments into two so that way it’ll be 1) cheaper and 2) i can tackle the interest way faster if i decide to re finance later. thank goodness for tax season so i can get started with that. and then i can put some towards the principal amount but NOT the monthly payment (from what i was told and i’ll go along with it since i know interest accrues. again i’m new to the car shopping world so apologies if i get anything wrong lol pls correct me or tell me something i don’t know so i can learn from it 😊).

so worth it! every time i park in my garage i want to just go back in and drive it to some random place lol it’s that epic!!
