Prior Authorization

I really wish my PM would allow a coupon for something like norco if it isn't covered. I can't imagine that a surgeon would take the time to contact insurance to get an override. The manager says no to the coupon initially. Low and behold, a family member appears a short time later, "Is it ready?". I just cancel the pa and use a coupon. No time to waste after significant surgery. No brainer!
