King of the Modstars Help

Are there any other ways to get the cars for this event (gtr r35 and r34) besides gold and event creds? Can I get them through rare imports? I’m really trying to speed this game up but with only 2800 event creds it’s going to take a while to buy a car. I have enough gold to buy one of the cars but is it even worth it? Or is it better to save to buy another car with gold instead? Some input would be very much appreciated lol
