PSA: Using 2xp before exfil doesn't double all xp. Don't waste your tokens and your time.

EDIT: For clarification- because some comments are saying that "it only worked before they removed the xp tokens the first time". These tests were done the first time they had these tokens available, you'll have to take my word for that because I don't have any timestamps to prove otherwise- but these photos were taken when I was prestige 5 and the tokens were introduced. As of today, I'm prestige 8.

Since the xp tokens are back (again), I wanted to make sure people knew.

TikTok and some YT vids are saying that popping a 2xp right before exfil will double your xp earned without "wasting" your xp token. This is fully incorrect, and while the after-game will make you think that it worked, I promise this is purely a visual bug.

Here's my personal testing:

I played Liberty Falls and effectively ran through the game as fast as I could. Used the same maxed weapon every time, so there were no challenges that I completed for extra xp, there was no camos to unlock for xp, or anything of the sort. I extracted on Wave 11 each time. The only difference between the runs was how and when I used my 2xp tokens.

First run: No double xp used at all. 6610 xp

Second run: 2xp used at the very end of the game, right before pressing the button to exfil. 7350 xp

Third run: 2xp used right before the game started and active all the way until I hit the lobby screen again. 13350 xp

So what this means is that using your 2xp at the end of the round right before exfil did double the xp you got for exfil, but literally nothing else.

None of your kills, rounds completed, or anything else contributed to the double xp despite what the level bar filling showed you. The double xp just cut your normal xp in half and pretended like it did something. Even if it did actually double your xp, then that would mean I only earned 3675 xp that entire second match despite the first match earning 6610 xp.
