UPDATE: CFP Review Comparison - BIF Added + Danko Response
Hey everyone! Following up on my previous post about CFP review providers that many of you found helpful. Two updates:
John Choi (Danko program instructor) responded to my video with some great clarifications and additional details about their program.
- The program offers 4 classes outside of the live review: Investment Formulas, Advanced Calculator topics, Tax Forms, and Case Studies.
- The Plus package videos are recordings of the Fast Track classes.
- Brett started the company 20 years ago. I had mistakenly thought that he’d worked at BIF for a long time but it was actually a partnership prior to BIF launching their own review.
I've added BIF to the comparison table. The file got too large to attach so here it is in Figma (no email or sign up needed). The screenshot below is a bit blurry. If you're still debating on a prep provider, check out the full video for more insights including quotes from this sub.
- A lot of you asked about their program or mentioned they were a close 2nd choice for you.
- BIF offers two programs. Core ($995) and Premium ($1,795). $800 upsells really are the magic number in this industry ;p
- BIF seems to position themselves as Danko quality at near Kaplan prices
- They seem to have more robust video content than any of the other providers
- There is no traditional marathon live review. Instead, there are weekly deep dives as part of the Premium package
- This sub praised BIF instructors, both for the lectures as well as being fast to respond to questions
Let me know if you have any questions!
Edit: added link bc image wouldn't attach. Formatting.
