My cat is going blind after her eye turned red and there's nothing I can do
I've taken her to two vets and neither of them had the equipment to check her blood pressure which is a very likely cause.
They first just ran all blood tests for kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Her kidney function is perfect and she was in the grey zone for hyperthyroidism. I was just advised to come back for them to check it again another time.
The second vet visit was even more useless, because he just said "well she's 17 so its probably normal eyesight degeneration." It's now Sunday and no other vets are open. My only option is to take her to the pet eye hospital tomorrow, but even then, if they can't check her blood pressure and that's the cause of it then I have no hope of saving her eyesight.
I hate living in this shit hole of a third world country.
