Normal breathing?

I adopted this 6 month old kitty a little over a week ago and I’ve been noticing he breaths super fast. He has been sneezing a bit so I’ve been giving him lysine and fortiflora as directed by the shelter. He is otherwise SUPER playful and eating, drinking and using the box normally. Google is scary and isn’t helping ease my nerves! Is this normal?
