SMASH or Boop tonight?

I’ve never seen SMASH and I’m not sure if that’s more or less required viewing before seeing the musical. And I’m obviously aware of Betty Boop’s character and would love to see all the colors and pizzas on stage lol to give you an idea of my preferences based on the musicals I’ve seen I thought Some Like it Hot, Wicked, Hamilton and Death Becomes Her were spectacular. Shuck’d and Gatsby were meh (I love every second of every musical I see but not everyone can be 10/10 lol)
