Band Bajaa Baraat where both Ranveer and Anushka didn't feel like newcomers.

I recently rewatched Band Bajaa Baraat, and one thing I noticed is that apart from a good story, both Anushka and Ranveer didn't feel like they were newcomers joining the industry both pulled the role perfectly. Now you see Archies or Azaad or even SOTY 2, the struggle is visible on the actors' faces. Why do you think we don't get the same aura or appeal in the newcomers now?
