Deva seems like a solid remake of " Mumbai Police".

I just completed watching Mumbai Police ( 2013 ) for the 2nd time and I saw it after ages. As a Malayali I'm biased but I'll be honest it's genuinely a very good film and the similarities of the movie with Deva's new trailer is genuinely interesting. Idk how they're gonna pull off , i definitely feel like there are alot of changes. The changes I expect are :

1) A very different approach to the original climax if it's a remake (ifykyk ). 2) Probably a 180° shift , and we'll get to see changes with Rahman's character and Jaysurya's character from the original. 3) Pooja Hegde's role in Deva , could be interesting or just a swerve to confuse people who have watched Mumbai Police. 4) I'll be honest , I hope Deva works because I genuinely see Shahid's maniac and very good approach to Prithvi's character( if it's a remake ). But if it's a remake , we've seen that with Vikram Vedha as well and we know how that turned out.

Hopefully this film works man , I hope it's not a full remake and there's actual swerves for the audience and I hope Rosshan Andrrews and Shahid Kapoor brings their A game to this.
