[BFV]Is it really about women?
Okay, so I've been thinking. Was it /really/ about women this whole time? I've noticed people aren't actually very mad about Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is a game promising to (at least aesthetically and visually) faithfully represent it's setting, much like Battlefield V, which just life BFV is also the first game in it's series allows you to choose a female character. It's the same situation, but with wildly different feedback.
I have never seen a Youtube comment section as bad, as negative as the comment sections under ANY video about BFV. You can look the game up, look for a video about it, and I bet you at least one comment's going to be along the lines of "wow, i'm happy that you like this game, too bad i'm not buying it". Or worse. Odyssey, however, is full of glowing praise, at least under Ubisoft's official videos about it.
So that settles it. It's not about women, it's about an inaccurate/unrealistic portrayal of women in video games. So you'd think that'd be it. But at the same time, I feel like it's just an excuse. What do you think, exactly? I don't think all of the complaints about this game are completely unjustified, though, keep that in mind. People who wanted a 100% true to life war game, though, I don't get you.
