The relation between pay and danger is a joke

Just playing on day 7, and i was ordered to put some peasant rebellion down. Got 270 gold for that, they claimed it was "mostly harmless" (danger level 1).

With my 7 guys, i faced a mix of 6 cuthroats/Indebted, (Edit for clarification, 12 enemies altogether) which promply gave me a good asskicking.

Now, i do play Ironman and i vowed to not cheat by restarting the game, but this time i make an exception.
