Baldurs Gate 3

I’ve been playing baldurs gate and lately whenever I go to roll whether it be for wisdom or deception or anything else for that matter, the game freezes weirdly and all I can do is switch caharacters. The only way to get out of being stuck in conversation is to push the talking character with my other characters or attack the person I’m talking to.

I have a feeling it might be caused by the fact that I use mods and that I added some after starting my game. I need help and I don’t know what to do
