can you mix luster dust in before baking?

my sister is baking me a cheesecake for my birthday because she’s fantastic, but won’t make it pink because she’s a butthead. 😂 kidding, she’s great lol she won’t make it pink but she wants to make it sparkly (because glitter is my second favorite color). anyways, she asked me if she can mix luster dust INTO the cheesecake to make it… lustery and i don’t know why she asked me this because i can’t bake boxed cake.

ANYWAYS, i’m asking you lovely people to help me answer her question: can she put the luster dust into the cheesecake mix before baking it and if she can, will it still be sparkly?
