This was the 2nd cake I ever baked! My grandmas birthday gift.
This was for my grandmothers birthday. They gave her 3 months so sadly we are thinking this will be her last birthday. As a kid I remember baking and cooking with her, decorating all of her sweets. She’s too sick to cook/bake now, but I tried super hard to make something she would love. Cookies and cream cake. She said it was so pretty she felt bad cutting it which made me smile. I know she appreciated the effort. As a kid I would stay at her house the week leading up to Christmas Eve and I would help her in the kitchen. I would also spend 2-3 weeks of my summer break with her making tortillas and different Mexican dishes. I think she was impressed with my progress!
