USPS delayed my shipment 5 days.

***UPDATE 2: I buried the two silver sisters under one of our trees, and the two fawn and whites are totally perked up and have turned into RAPTORS. They are tearing up their food and water. I wish I could share a video. I'm so proud of them. 🥲

***UPDATE 1: Thank you for the kind words and encouragement. I picked them up about an hour ago. 2 were DOA and 2 seem like they have a chance. They are under a heat lamp with all of the essentials and I hand dosed them some electrolytes and vitamins mixed with a watered egg slurry. Please keep some positive thoughts for these tough little ladies. 5 days no heat or food but they want to live and I'm so glad they at least have each other for the time being.

Original post:

Tomorrow morning I will go to the post office and open a box of deceased ducklings because the post delayed and rerouted shipment from Metzer farms. They will have been over 120 hours in the mail and I live in the neighboring state, not across the country. I am so devastated that I'm not sure how to even drive myself over there tomorrow (if they even show up tomorrow).

Metzer said USPS did this to many orders this week. I don't think I can ever order live birds through the mail again.

Please send encouraging words so I don't feel like a monster.
