I think I fell in love

On Sunday I matched with a guy and we started talking. And he seems cool to me and he is kind. When i told him my mom got me a new nail polish he asked me "what color?" And that was an absolute green falg for me. Im just wondering if I'm overreacting that whenever he doesn't answer I feel abandoned and like he doesn't want to do anything with me. We are still just friends, we talked about having a relationship but he said that he first looks for friends and then for a lover. This would be my first serious relationship EVER so I might need some advice on how to control my fear of abandonment (I haven't told him that I have bpd and stuff, I will tell him later as we get to know each other more)
