Non-sexual Domming

How do I explain non-sexual Domming to my partner? Could you guys give some examples of it to show him? Specifically just day to day stuff without the implication of sex. I've been super sex adverse lately and it seems like he only really has the sexual parts of being a Dom figured out so I've been kinda left without anything.
