Wife wants to try something new

I (49M) and my wife (47F) have a part time dynamic. We both have experience with BDSM, CNC, Group Play, etc. When we do a scene, it's usually moderate BDSM. She has a safe word and a safe gesture which are respected. She recently suggested trying something new. She wants to take a sleeping pill (she has a prescription) and have stuff done to her while she's out. She wants me to record everything so that she can watch it after. We talked about rules and boundaries and we agreed upon what's ok and what's not. I've never done anything like this. Has anyone tried this? I'm interested in both a male and female perspective.
