AE1 quality and issues
I got the AE1 Lows, but unfortunately, they had too many issues for me to consider them a good shoe.
First, the sizing was strange. While the width fit my foot well, the length felt off, which made them uncomfortable. On the positive side, the grip was decent—more consistent than the JA1s I previously owned. However, my biggest problem was performance during intense play. Hard stops and jumps made the shoes feel almost unwearable, which is a dealbreaker for me.
Another issue was the quality control. I might have received a bad pair, but the Adidas badge on the left shoe was off-center and tilted. While this is mostly a cosmetic flaw, it’s disappointing at this price point.
