Small crossbody everyday bag

Sorry if this has been done to death - What are everyone's go-to everyday bag!

I don't love the bags i currently have, they're either way too big or way too small! Now that my two kids are in school, i no longer need my gigantic purses to fit kids waterbottles, snacks and random kids items i need to carry! The only other bags i have are my fancy "going out" expensive bags which i only use like twice a year when i go to a nice dinner or event!

I'd love one that can fit my small water bottle, keys, phone and hairties etc. I'm struggling to find one that can fit a small waterbottle, but not be too big! I also like the option to have it on my shoulder, but then go crossbody when i need my arms more free!
