Why do people always target me?

Everyone always feels better about themselves when they have something negative to say about me. People will go so far as to come up with complete lies about me and then spread rumors about me. It happens to me so often it makes me wonder if I am really that cool. I don't own a house but I take up residence in some people's mind's and they literally have it out for me like I'm the one to blame for their shortcomings as people. Like I decided how much of their daddy's ugliness and their mom's stupidity to mix into their DNA. No one can ever just leave me the fuck alone and keep my name out of their mouth!!! It's crazy! I just keep killing them with kindness though, what else is there to do about it .. 🤷
