Have you been blocked on social media for odd reasons?

A family friend I've known since I was little decided to unfriend me on Facebook simply because we don't share that much in common according to her. I found this odd because last year we spoke quite a bit, exchanged gifts and I felt we were close. She said that she'd still talk to me and we're generally on good terms, but now she's said this I feel more distant from her. I appreciate her honesty telling me instead of just doing it without my knowledge, but it still feels weird that she'd unfriend me just because we don't have much in common....again according to her.
