girl likes all my stories, should i dm?

i don’t post very much at all on insta but this year this girl liked all my stories. i don’t have any classes with her but i see her walking by a few times a day and i also haven’t spoken to her yet. my friends have told me i should dm her someday, now not to get too deep I’ve searched other posts and even tiktok has had a trend where they emphasize “blind leading the blind” and that they dm her and they get left on seen or the message wasn’t even opened. is this likely to happen to me? i’m wondering cause it almost seems like a universal outcome.
