Despite loving nyc, I realized I don’t like any area. does anyone feel the same?

I think maybe all the areas have just changed so much in the last 20 years. But I realised the other day that... I don't like any individual area anymore. There's not a single place I enjoy just being in. From greenpoint and williamsburg to bedstuy and crown heights, west or east village, astoria, redhook, etc etc.

I still like doing things in those areas, but i used to love just being in a lot of them. just existing there, wandering around. now, i hate them all. hate them. I find them stifling and boring and just awful.

I have to know, am i alone here? does anyone else feel like this?
