Hello. Advice for getting into Marketing?

How would you tackle getting into Marketing when you don't have professional formation?

About me, I have some math/statistic knowledge due to studying Agricultural Science when I was younger, My business and economic knowledge is almost null (I'm reading this book: Basic Economy from Thomas Sowell, to fix that), and due to wanting to make Game as a hobby I'm a bit confortable with creative work.

I was planning to look for a Sales entry job and learn about copywriting on the meantime, to Learn the basics. Is this a good idea? Is there a Marketing roadmap I dunno about? Any advice and info Will really help. Thank you
