What to do between Cruise ending and Flight?

Hello everyone, our cruise gets back to the cruise port in San Pedro at 6AM and we will disembark about 9. This will be a Sunday. Our flight leaves at 4PM from LAX (Not international) so we will need to be at LAX about 1:30-2PM. This gives us about 5 hours of free time. I have never been to LA as an adult but wanted to hear from people who have, what should we do in that time? We will not be using public transportation and will store our luggage at a Bounce location. How busy is the airport? Would we need to arrive earlier? Thank you
