Post-surgery, injured nerve?

Hi, 25M here. I had a minor surgery around my ear this week, part of my parotis got removed. Now i am already at home, but i noticed i can't feel the lower part of my ear when i touch it (my jaw, face and hearing works fine tho). Does this mean that a nerve got damaged there? And if yes, is this temporary and will heal or...permanent?
