23F -- Toe cracking with every step and starting to become uncomfortable

23F, 5ft 7, 110 lbs

The big toe on my left foot cracks with every step. It has been like this for a few years but recently it has started cracking significantly louder (it used to be only me who noticed the crack but now my dad can hear me walking from the next room). It has also become slightly uncomfortable when walking-- not quite painful but enough for me to notice and it is sometimes very jarring.

I don't feel like it's currently negatively affecting my life, but if this is an early sign of arthritis or something, I feel like it should be addressed before it gets worse?

I've been an athlete my whole life and played D1 in college so they might have contributed? My other joints crack a lot as well, but not to the point where it seems super abnormal. But if I stand still for like 5-10 minutes and then bend my knees to move, everything cracks.

Should I be concerned or do something now to prevent it getting worse in the future?
