Blood Pressure Variations
I am a 39 year old Male. 5'9 185lbs Non Smoker (used to) No medications No family history of high BP
I work out 3-4 times a week. I have a history of anxiety and panic disorder.
I've had dull headaches for about 2 weeks. My BP has been averaging around 140-150/90-100s.
I realized how high in sodium my diet has been (frozen prepackaged meals etc). So, for the last week I removed most sodium from my diet and started cooking my own meals. My headaches have subsided but my BP is very spontaneous.
For example, this morning my BP was 140/103. I waited a 5 minutes and took it again and it was 129/86.
This rise and fall happens constantly. My bp is always through the roof with my initial reading (150s/90s) then subsides quickly. Could it be this high due to my anxiety? Most sources on the internet say yes, but it just seems too high. Whenever i see the blood pressure cuff my heart races and my hands get sweaty. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
