Will people really hesitate to rent to me?

Hello! I am planning to move to Sochi/Russia at the end of the year. I just read, that I have to find someone who rents me an apartment quite quickly and that people may hesitate renting to a foreigner. I am from Austria, forty years of age, I guess a normal guy at first look, I could pay the rent easily 6+ months in advance and I can prove that, also that I have no criminal record! I am married, and we have a kid (18 months) and as well a good behaving dog... Will people really hesitate to rent to me?
