i make audio stories and podcasts about living with mental illness/mood disorders/neurodiversity :) y'all inspire me!

greetings friends!

i was diagnosed with bipolar type 1 in 2012 and have been periodically disabled/debilitated by it ever since then. i am also a musician and audio producer, so after being laid off from a job shortly after i asked for ADA accommodations i started making work explicitly about my bipolar experience.

one such project is the moodcast (https://youtu.be/eKySTxxQohE?feature=shared), a surreal psychedelic emotional weather forecast that is equal parts mood tracking in the traditional sense but with a healthy dose of vintage weather channel vibes plus a dash of meow wolf-esque weirdness tossed in the mix. it's my way of assimilating the pain and disorientation of being different in a neurotypical world.

i would be honored if you gave me a listen and commented on what you thought about it. p.s. i'm recruiting guests for my non-fiction podcast project, so if any of you wonderful creators would be interested in sharing your experiences and struggles in such a format, reach out to me and maybe we could set up a time to chat!

peace and love!
