Arthrofibrosis: Surgery or PT ?

Hi guys. So glad I found this sub.
My surgery (ACL reconstruction surgery + partial meniscectomy) happened on 25th October '24.
I am almost 3 months post-op.
I have Fixed Flexion Deformity with bad ROM.
My latest MRI indicates significant arthrofibrosis.
My new PT suggests changing the regime and is hopeful that PT alone can solve this and bring the extension back to zero.
My surgeon will re-evaluate me in 2 weeks and is indicating that he might need to do MUA. Can you please share based on your experience if either POVs can break the scar tissue and is foolproof?
