question- plants?

First- I am a beginner so please don’t judge me. Why do my plants look like this? Some are anabuis and java fern and two are amazon sword (third pic) I’ve just put most in about a week ago and they’re turning brown already.. I put some plant fertilizer in there as well. It is a betta tank by the way.
