Wow... Now I'm being excluded
Ever since the ED1 results came out, most of my "friends" who were applying to USA Universities have been ignoring me.(We are all international students applying for aid) Out of all 9 of us, I was the only one who got accepted in ED into my dream uni. The others were all rejected from their unis. Now the point of debate is, I'm not the strongest academically (95% in Indian CBSE Boards which is 4.33 in US GPA) while all my friends who applied to other lower ranked unis were 97-and-up kind of scholars. I didn't even give the SATs, where all my friends got 1500+. Please don't consider this as bragging. I'm an aspiring CS Major, so I started a company to provide software solutions to local businesses. I have also ranked in Top 10 nationally for International competions like Microsoft Imagine Cup and Intel AI Competition. I'm also a national level badminton player, and a pianist with 10 years of experience and certifications and training from Trinity College London (through their local branch). I believe my extracurriculars and essays set me apart.
These people I believed were my friends are now ignoring me just because I got in during ED even though I scored less marks than them.(I'm from India, so marks decide a student's capability and potential in our country, not their other achievements)
I don't know how should I approach this problem. Should I confront them? Or should I ignore them? I don't know what are you supposed to do when your friends turn on you...
