I got this email from UC Santa Barbara about honoring top applicants. What does this mean?

I got an email saying: "Chancellor Henry T. Yang, in company with faculty, alumni and staff of the University of California, Santa Barbara, is pleased to invite you to a UC Santa Barbara Reception in New York honoring top applicants..." Does this indicate anything for admission chances?
