Is it too late?

What’s everything I need to do and know to get into an ivy league school. I’m currently doing my IGCSE exams. Is it too late to build a profile now? (I’m 16, I have 2 years left for applying to uni)

Also, does being in a school matter? Can’t private students get into an ivy?
