Hi! Spotify family plan refugee here needing help re: family plan members
Hey everyone!
For reasons, I decided that giving spotify money every month for my family plan is not something I want to do anymore. I moved over. Here's where I am:
Apple ID account created.
Signed up for apple music, upgraded to family plan, confirmed account shows active family plan.
Linked apple music with all my home devices and phones and things, and omg the difference in audio quality on my big speakers is amazing.
So far so good, right?
Show stopping issue time. I don't own apple hardware. I don't have an iphone, or an apple desktop/laptop system. Was unable to find any way to setup my new family group or invite my husband to the group (he has a apple ID as well!).
I contacted support via chat. Agent was friendly and chatty, and informed me the ONLY way to add members to my family group is to... use a apple hardware device to do this?
There has to be a way around this vs - the only alternative I can think of? (Having a friend who uses apple hardware literally login as me and do everything for me, and I generally don't like giving others access to my accounts).
Anyone got a potential solution?
