Should I mention somebody’s body odor at our apt gym?

Our apartment has a gym for tenants that has a capacity of ~10 people (starts feeling full with 8). There are two rooms, probably totaling 1000 sqft. It’s definitely more than a couple of treadmills, but not as nice as a full gym.

There is a fellow gym goer (M 30s) with consistently bad body odor. If you are within ~6ft it smells fairly strong. 75% of the time it’s not an issue, you only sense the smell as you walk by. But 25% of the time when you want to use a machine near him, it’s not worth it.

I don’t want to be rude, and if I am, I’ll happily accepting that and moving on. But my sense is because the gym is a communal space, all tenants should feel comfortable in it.

Is it worth saying something? Filing a complaint? Moving on? Thanks everyone!
