Did you ever regret making a second island?

This is more of a question for anyone who has a second switch console for a second island, is this something that you've ever regretted?

I'm planning on buying one from a friend, but I'm also afraid that it'll be weird to have it just for one game. I plan on using it for others later on, but for right now the only game I plan on using it for if New Horizons and I'm afraid of getting buyers remorse.
