Best friend gives mixed messages. Is he interested?

For context. We've been friends for about 5 years now He used to tell me about every "girl problem" he's had in the past. It changed when he had a serious gf. Even introduced me to her. They broke up a year ago. And i thought he had kinda distanced himself from me, which i was okay. But through all that time, He's made sure to tell me about every tiny accomplishment He's had despite being far away. He also kept sharing reels which sometimes also had explicit jokes, which i mostly ignored. Now that he's relocated for work, closer to where i now live, he texts more often about random things. He has said multiple times that I'm like one of his guy friends. But he's also joked in the distant past that if I wanted to escape marriage, i could just stay engaged to him nstead. Which i thought was a joke. Now i wonder what is happening in his head really. Reply
