What is better for me long term, getting good grades or taking a semester abroad?

Just asking because I am facing a dilemma. I have accepted a place for semester abroad, but the classes in my home country are very interesting next semester so I am certain I would get good grades in it. My grades are very average so I feel like taking this semester would be very good for my grades when graduating. However, there seems to be benefits to taking a semester abroad as well so I am not certain what to do. Any answers appreciated!
