Misdiagnosis of MPB because of accutane hair thinning?

Hi all I (M)22 recently did a scalp biopsy after taking two rounds of accutane. 80mg.

If you didn't know a scalp biopsy can assist in finding certain types of alopecia. They extract a sample from the scalp and test it too see if they can find any hair that has changed in diameter. Aka thickness.

They diagnosed me with AGA patterned baldness. I don't think my hairline has move sense being a child much. But that's just male maturity not full on baldness. And they said they suspect they found "miniaturized" hair's. But miniaturized would from my research only mean it became thinner. They also said they suspected it to be patterned and diagnosed it as such but I described it as all over my head. Almost like diffused thinning.

Why would accutane on not be the first suspect? Thankfully I'm oral minoxidil and a DHT blocker. But have not gone through any alarming shedding phases on either. This makes me further suspect their misdiagnosis. It just doesn't make sense.

What are your guy's thoughts?
