Hair Loss and Accutane - Scandinavian Biolabs Serum
For context: I am on my first course of Accutane, my first month was 20mg and I am now on my second month at 30mg. So far my major side effects have been dry lips and feeling more sore after a workout. All in all, nothing major.
Right so I already have been experiencing hair loss problems before being prescribed Accutane and so I knew going into the treatment that hair loss is a possible side effect. I have been researching products that can aid in hair growth and slow down the hair-shedding cycle, and so I found Scandinavian Biolabs. The marketing seems promising (lol) and so today after my shower I finally tried the hair growth serum. There's a warning that says that the product does cause a 'burning' sensation so it is to be expected, however, I have never felt my scalp feel like it is on literal fire. The instructions of the serum even say that the daily recommended dose is 2 full pipettes of the oil and I was barely able to apply 1! I realise now that one of the main ingredients is alcohol. I know that alcohol consumption should be avoided when on Accutane though I wonder when it comes to hair product ingredients if the same applies?
