Looking for adolescence romance reunited later in life type of romance, the former best friend turned love interest.

The best examples I have of this are Being a DIK with Zoey and My Bully Is My Lover with Emma (? It's been a while). While those weren't exactly the same, it's that general type of romance I am referring to. I do also like slowburn type of romance

Zoey (Note: Spoilers for episode 9 and forward of BaDIK including the recently released 0.11) >! What started as a friendship / love curiosity for the both of them eventually developed into an incredibly close type of relationship where they couldn't properly tell if they were a couple or just really close friends. Zoey took a sort of "mentorship" role with MC in regards to sex, teaching him anything and everything, teaching him what "women" liked in the guise of what she personally liked (which ended up fairly universal but that's another discussion) and they grew closer and closer everyday, spending time at eachothers houses daily, in school, in detention and so on until an unfortunate event that made Zoey feel she had to leave their town behind. As she gets on the train, MC realizes that the loss he's feeling right now isn't just the loss of his best friend but of his first love. Even if things were never "official", he knew he loved her deeply the moment he lost her. Fast forward to their eventual reunion, things start out somewhat awkward but they slowly start rebuilding what they had and when Zoey realizes she didn't just love him back in the past but still love him in the present, she confesses her feelings and MC reciprocates, restarting their romance!<

Emma As children, they met by chance outside, running into eachother I think. They ended up becoming friends and started meeting daily, going for walks, talking about their lives which eventually blossomed into a very pure and innocent love between a young boy and a young girl. They became deeply rooted into eachothers lives for... I think a few months? Here's where my memory gets a bit fussy but I think the beginning of the end was Emma told MC that her parents are forcing her to move far away to some other country. They talk about it, they're both very sad and eventually that means the end to their love and to their "relationship". MC stops going to the places where they used to meet daily because they remind him of her, like the dock or the playground. What he doesn't know though is that her plans changed and so she ended up staying there. She goes to the dock, she goes to the playground only to not see him there. She goes there daily, hoping for several years but never does see him again... She changes her hair, her personality, her clothes, I think even her name due to a range of strange events and afterwords she does find him again, maybe 5 years or so later. It takes a while until she reveals who she is and after that, nothing separates them ever again

Slight note: There are multiple love interests in these games beyond these characters but I describing it as if both were chosen above all the rest because 1. That's how I played it and 2. That's how I remember it

But to try to summarize what I am looking for... I want a deep connection between these characters, MC and the early life best friend/romance. It's been a theme in the best examples of this type of romance to introduce the backstory in the middle of the VN rather than early on. I don't know why but it seems to work better than doing it early on? I don't mind either way though. But I want the reunion to be really felt. I do like the emotional slow burn stories, so I certainly wouldn't mind that here. But anything in style of Zoey or Emma would be amazing.

Oh and the gap between them for a while matters. It helps add on to the emotional intensity of the situation.
