x570 Crosshair Hero Viii (wifi) front audio not working

After I recently bought my new motherboard I didn't get any front audio, after troubleshooting the issue it seems like it doesn't detect my audio device and therefor doesn't play audio through it. I made sure I had the latest drivers and bios version plus made sure the HD audio connector was properly plugged in. I found a few guides where you download Realtek Audio manger or Realtek Audio console but neither of these were available to download.

The problem most likely is with either the connector on the motherboard or the case front panel connector being damaged but turning of front panel detection should fix this issue. If anyone knows how to resolve this issue please let me know, thanks.

(Edit) After some helpful comments I have narrowed the problem down to the physical connectors on the motherboard and front panel, after disconnecting and reconnecting the HD audio cable I got pure static from the mic but the audio sounded fine. This is better than it not being detected at all but it’s still a problem.
