I terminated a pregnancy for medical reasons. AMA

My partner and I planned and very much wanted this pregnancy/baby.

However, we received a fatal diagnosis and decided to end the pregnancy early, rather than wait for the baby to die in utero, during birth, or very quickly after.

(This is a really taboo topic, so I’m hoping this will shed light on a reality not often talked about)
