Geniune Desire vs Guilt about passed Hyperfixation
As a newly diagnosed Person with ADHD, I am still learning a whole lot about why I am the way I am in most of my situations and behaviours.
However, something I havent heard people talk about is trying to discern is wanting to do something or feeling obligated to keep "Wanting" because of the time and energy spent on that thing.
In my case I have been really wanting a specific tattoo (my first one too) for god knows how long (could be a few months or even years, I dont know), but now I am not sure anymore if I truly still want it or feel obligated to keep wanting it because I have been planning and wanting it for so long now.
